The school inconsistent offers vegan protein sources. they also fail to make things like tofu vegan when they easily could be;(

  • Barnaby Griffin

The quality of the food is not the greatest and it would be helpful if there were more vegetarian options.

  • Pierre van Houtte

Good vegan options with a nice stand and varied options

  • Reenie Tian

I feel like it’s pretty good because there’s a designated vegan station

  • Rachel

They seem to have good options but they don’t advertise them much

  • ilelta

As someone who is vegan during lent. there are barely any vegan options here and if there are it’s 90% of the time not good

  • Alina Schueman

I think William & Mary has a good selection of vegan options consistently. I like the variety.

Vegan food is a little lacking

  • Anthony LaRosa

Overall ok, vegan food is available but lacking in variety

  • Naman

They always have a variety of vegetarian and vegan options that are clearly labeled as such. I find it very easy to maintain a vegetarian lifestyle here.

  • Lilly Batthany

Not a huge variety, could be better.

  • madison

    amazing

  • Alexander mullen

  • Katherine Herzog

    Super good!

  • Jasper Staudinger

Sadler cafeteria fulfills it’s green responsibilities: from various vegetarian and vegan options that are available every day, over non dairy milk and vegan desserts. It’s always possible to have a great cruelty free meal!

  • Francesca

    Good

  • Adam

Somewhat limited, sometimes fire sometimes trash

  • Jason

Plenty of great options and availability!

  • Samantha Fidler

They perhaps participated in meatless mondays before but no longer.

  • MM

W&M Does participate in Meatless Mondays

  • Elana Frank

Not the best but definitely getting better. A lot of the things listed on the report card are actually true about the dining halls, though. They do offer nondairy milk (although they tend to run out often), they once in a while have vegan desserts, we do have a vegan member on the dining hall advisory board, we just started meatless mondays and they have been more receptive to it (although there is definitely more to grow), and there is an all vegan-station in 2/3 of the dining halls.

The taste of the vegan food itself is definitely a toss up. Sometimes I really enjoy my meal, and other times it’s just boring.

I would probably give William and Mary a B for their vegan options.

We have three main dining halls and all three have entire vegan/vegetarian sections where we 1. offer an all vegan station, 2. promote vegan options, 3.label vegan entrees, 4. label vegan desserts, and 5.offer non dairy milk. Often times the ONLY desserts are vegan because the bakery would rather everyone can eat something than discriminate.
