Only one dining hall has meatless monday. Other dining halls have steaks swimming in butter. They dont give people the option to see the ingredients. How can you know if it’s vegetarian that way. However, ortega dining hall is easiest to be vegan at with their tasty meatless Monday meals. Helped in convincing me to go veg. Most of the vegan lifestyle is outside of the dining hall. I’d give the school a C grade for not having the healthiest or knowledgeable of choices, but sometimes really tasty ones. Vegan meals should not be only available for themes like meatless Monday, but for every meal at every dining hall. They should be appealing and the main course, not an unappetizing dessert or side dish.

Doesn’t participate in Meatless Mondays, doesn’t offer vegan dessert options, regularly mislabels vegan/vegetarian cuisine as the kitchen staff doesn’t always know the difference. Very sad to be in such a “sustainable” dining common that serves copious amounts of meat with poor vegan substitutes
