If you’re an incoming freshman, living on campus in a dorm that has no kitchen, and you are strictly relying on a meal plan, I would suggest you get the plan that offers the most flex points and not unlimited swipes into VG. While the Ville Grille does offer veggie and vegan options, it often lacks in healthiness and efficiency. Once you figure out all of the options on campus, utilize your meal swipes on the options you can, while having your flex points reserved for those special things they don’t include as a meal swipe. Overall, especially for anyone not on an expensive freshman meal plan, this campus is very flexible for any vegetarians or vegans! It is certainly the best I have researched around the Kentucky/Indiana/Ohio area.

I am writing this to let you know that UofL has a really great offering of Vegan and Vegetarian options! There are several Vegan students on our Student Government Association. They are always posting vegan and or vegetarian options on their social media. Our dining hall Ville Grill has vegan deserts now which is so great! I love it!
