I don’t know when the last time this was updated, but the school now has 2 new dining halls since 2013. They both offer nondairy milk, promote veg options and offers an all-veg station. This school is becoming more progressive with its options and may sign the Meatless Monday pledge soon

Fairly disappointed in the offering of vegan food. There is usually vegan entrees but are loaded with sodium and fat, just as unhealthy as the regular offerings. Even the salad bar is sparse with different vegetables. It seems like they just slap a bland rice dish on the side and label vegan without any consideration of health. It is much easier and accommodating to be vegetarian in the dining halls because they serve a vast amount of cheese with most of their general meals.

I’m actually disappointed in the offerings at University of Delaware. It’s not diverse and even a large majority of the salads have cheese or meat in them. A girl gets tired of eating wraps and veggie sushi all the time. Thank goodness for the options on Main Street and the fact that I can pack things from home.
