Texas Woman’s is not vegan friendly, in my opinion. During my orientation over the summer they made a big deal about how they had many healthy options. Coming here I realized that was not the case. I’ve gone to the Underground two times and both times they had nothing that was vegan friendly. Also they have Vegetarian stickers but no vegan stickers. I have looked around on campus and online but I can not find anywhere that gives me a list of ingredients for their food so I can know what is in it. I’m not pleased at all and I have email the school about it also. so hopefully this all changes soon.

Texas Woman’s University deserves a very low D rating. The Underground (the university’s cafeteria) is lacking in the field of veganism. The only reason TWU does not earn an F is because every once in a while, maybe every two weeks, they’ll carry Gardein meatless chick’n tenders. That’s it, no others. They do, however, have little stickers to indicate what foods are vegetarian. They do not have a vegan sticker. They also do not have the list of ingredients available for us students to view.
