I am a transfer student from Houston, and that city had MANY vegan options. At TTU, however, I have only found two vegan food options on campus. This being a veggie or tofu asian style bowl or a custom salad. I found these in the SUB. It is quite disappointing that there are not more options and variety of vegan foods. Upsetting.

I currently attend Texas Tech University and they do not offer any healthy food options such as vegan. It is awful that they only offer unhealthy food options. I wish they would do more for all students and not just majority. The only options they offer are Chinese, Deli, Mexican, American, fried, home cooked, and only one healthy option which is salads, but it closes too early. I know Texas Tech has the money to open up an all-vegan dining hall, but they obviously only cater to meat-eaters.

I have never really found anything vegan friendly other than french fries. I mean there are things that you can request to be vegan, but you have to specifically tell them.

Such a shame that such a large and well funded school cannot give its students more options. Especially when they use the food providers that could make it possible to make a smooth transition to vegan and vegetarian dining. Have to work hard on getting more options on campus….right now it’s just pathetic. I WANT MORE THAN SALAD!!!!!!!!
