NCSU has really good offerings in their dinings halls and restaurants….. for non-vegetarians. I am vegetarian, not vegan; but even then, I don’t have too many options to eat. Fountain has pizza and pasta as its only REAL vegetarian options and the dessert is either very sugary, or just to bland. I am not nit-picking here, I just don’t get too many options and, out of all the things that I get, it doesn’t taste good and isn’t good for me.

I believe that the vegan dining at NCSU is pretty good compared to other NC university dining halls that I have seen. NCSU does offer nondairy original soymilk and chocolate soymilk in each dining hall. I have not seen any vegan dessert, but I do not usually eat dessert so that is not something I look for. They do promote vegan options and even celebrated World Vegetarian Day in all of the dining halls on campus. I have not seen any Meatless Monday advertisements, but they do Fresh Start Monday’s on campus and have healthier options (including vegan) in all of the dining halls, usually including a vegetarian station. I believe that NCSU is one of the top vegetarian/vegan friendly campuses in the US, but there still are improvements that could be made.
