I’m a student at KSU. They offer soymilk in both original & vanilla options; all fooods are labeled “meatless” or “vegan” in the dining centers. Yes, it is an agriculture school & does a lot of beef producing, and that’s one thing that worried me when I was going to be living in the dorms is that I wouldn’t have any vegetarian options as a student. I was wrong! Even some of the food stops on campus offer vegetarian & vegan options.

K-State has really improved with their vegan dining options! They have non-dairy milk, have fixed some cross contamination issues, and have several SUPER vegan friendly options in their Student Union.

Lots of cross contamination on the salad bars and food lines. Oftentimes ingredient lists are hard to find. Not many vegan options. Students have poor opinions of vegan diets, so be prepared for ridicule and “Eat Beef” license plates.
