The ISU cafeteria at Turner Hall in Pocatello has a very limited number of options. They are required to have at least one vegetarian dish, and take no consideration for those with vegan diets. They cover plain pasta noodles with cheese, they bake potatoes with Parmesan, almost all of their options have some form of dairy or other animal product. There are no vegan bread options (how hard is it?), they have vegetarian patties (containing eggs, dairy, etc.) but do not carry vegan ones. The majority of the time, all that is available to vegan students are french fries and salads without dressing. Occasionally i can find some cereal since they offer both soy and almond milk alternatives. They do not participate in Meatless Mondays, they have not listened to any suggestions via vegan students, they do not label vegan entrees (most of their screens are broken regardless), and (as stated before) they do not offer at least one vegan entree with every meal. Overall, I am incredibly disappointed. As a student, I am required to pay for a mandatory meal plan (which equals to about $11 a meal for 100+ meals) although they make it incredibly difficult to accommodate the needs of anyone with special dietary needs. I would give this a D rating. Not satisfied at all.
