There IS vegan options, but the employees at the “create your own” station are highly confused. If you ask if there is dairy or anything in it they say, “I feel like there isn’t.” Sometimes you can get employees to check, but usually they don’t know. They have icons for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc, but they don’t actually display them. If they did that it would make it so much easier for everyone (vegans and employees).

NSU offers many vegan options- from sushi and Subway to salads and shakes. They don’t label their vegan options, however, probably because many of the stations are “create your own” entree, so they can be customized to be vegan or not. OutTakes, Starbucks, and JuiceBlendz all offer dairy-free milk. Meatless Mondays seems like the next step the university should take to continue the expansion of vegan options.
