Vegan food at Oxy’s Marketplace is highly promoted – vegan options are tweeted daily and written on the signs in the Marketplace above food options daily as well. I’m a junior at Oxy and in my 2.5 years here there’s never been a day that the Marketplace doesn’t have vegan options. Not to mention the vegan options are DELICIOUS – the Oxy Marketplace uses more organic and local greens, veg, and grains than it ever has. As of September 2015 ALL of the whole (uncut) fruit options are organic. We have a station called Organic Smoothie Bar on Saturday mornings for a healthy, vegan boost at the beginning of the day, and it sells out almost every time. For every vegan option that Oxy offers, it is advertised on the board above the station, and as mentioned above, they are tweeted about as well as posted on the Campus Dining facebook page.
