Since I’ve attended Rider, they’ve always had dairy free milk, a vegan entrée at every meal, and have had meatless Mondays. They also have a wok station, so the option of making stir fry is always available (there is a sign that says please do not cook meat). This year, the vegetarian station is now mainly vegan. All dishes at that station (and other stations) are now clearly labeled vegetarian or vegan. They also have a vegan soup almost everyday. At the pasta station, the marinara sauce is vegan. This year they also got water ice. Another new change that I really like is there is always vegan burgers and vegan chicken available at lunch and dinner. The vegan options have greatly improved this year. The dining hall has monthly food committee meetings that are open to all students (usually the third Tuesday of each month, 12-1). I am a vegan and have went multiple times. The staff are very easy to talk to and genuinely care about the student’s feedback.

it’s no surprise that Rider dining did not respond to your survey bc they probably are embarassed of what they serve or better yet what they don’t serve and getting a poor score would not help them look better than they are so i’ll tell you that we have meatless mondays and non dairy milk and, occasionally the vegan entrees are labeled but not anything else. The vegetarian options are limited and the same every single day so the vegan options if they exist on that day are even worse off.
