We have a separate vegan food bar at lunch and dinner with salads and hmmus and vegetable preparations. Lunch provides a vegan entree there with ric in addition to other options alongside the non-veg hot food. Soy milk machine always offers original and chocolate options. Wish the original was unsweetened because both flavors are pure sugar and no nutritional info is available.

UMKC is definitely not vegan friendly. Having a hummus bar at every meal doesn’t constitute being friendly…

I’m not a vegan, but there are vegan options EVERY WHERE on this campus. In the cafe they have a vegan bar (and makes sure that it never touches non-vegan food). In ALL of the pop-out places on campus (or whatever you call like the other little shops) there are vegan options. Kind of surprising that we got a B. I’ve also tried some of these (as a non-vegan) and they were GREAT! I totally get them as much as I get other foods on campus, so the flavor and all is there. We should definitely be ranked higher.
