Jora
As a former student at Georgia Southern, and a strict vegan, there are minimal to NO options if I were to choose to eat on campus, either at the dining halls or food hubs placed around campus. It is discouraging to know that there is no social awareness or advocacy for healthier food options, and it is saddening knowing that there is a limited voice behind the cause for vegetarianism/veganism. I am aware that non-vegans alternatives have the opportunity to consume dairy by-products, but those are harmful in itself for those who choose an alternative lifestyle. For those who are vegan, we do not want our veggies cooked or catered near the same facilities that contain meat, no thank you. Also, soy options would be an ideal improvement, just as a base premise for change.
