While MC does offer nondairy milk and labels vegan entrees. Thats really all they do. The vegan “entrees” that are provided maybe 2 or 3 times a week are sautéed veggies, and thats it. There are vegetation friendly options like veggie burgers that they say you can ask for at any time in the main dining hall or in the burger shop, but when you do ask they generally give you a hard time. The only constant vegan option is the salad bar, which has very little variety. There are never any vegan desserts, however there is normally fresh whole fruit available (apples, bananas, and oranges). When my friends and I contacted the dining services about being more vegan friendly and giving them recipes they said they would try to be better and nothing ever happened. It is possible to be vegetarian while dining at MC, but being vegan is practically impossible without supplementing with food that you purchase on your own.
