CSULB Parkside Dining Hall always has great vegan and vegetarian options that are different each day. There’s always a vegan soup, side, and main dish. All of their dishes are also nut free. The photo attached is the Szechuan Tofu and Eggplant dish with brown rice, and a vegan side salad with beets and red quinoa. The dishes are always filling and flavorful!

CSULB’s Dinning Halls have a vegetarian section where one meatless dish is served at lunch and dinner, along with a vegetarian soup option and salad bar. About 30 percent of the time the meatless dish contains dairy. CSULB lacks a consistently vegan option, however, they always offer one dish without meat at least. The Vegan dishes are slightly above average in taste. I have attached a photo of one of the more flavorful dishes, Gardien beef with rice and vegetables. Overall I am thankful to dorm at a College that constantly serves meatless options, though I would love for my university to make all meatless options vegan…..And to participate in meatless Monday!
